How the Video About Our Program Came to Us

One day the director of The Latino Family Literacy Project, Katherine Del Monte, received a package in the mail.  She opened it to find a warm and lovely video about the project and how it affected the lives of 15 families who went through the training at one school. Ms. Del Monte was grateful for the video and after viewing it decided to put it on the Project’s website so that anyone who is interested can see how the progam works.

If you click on the link for the video, you will see that it captures the essence of the program. Teachers work with parents to help parents work with their children. In the video you hear heartfelt testimonials from parents, kids and teachers about how the parents read with their children. You also see their children comment about the positive results that the program training had on their parents.
