Peace, Love, and ESL!: The Latino Family Literacy Project

We had our first meeting of the Latino Family Literacy Project on Wednesday, January 19. We had eight mothers take part in the first meeting. We discussed the goals of the program. They each received their first book to take home to read with their child/children. They also began working on their scrapbook.

Tuvimos la primera junta del Proyecto de lectura Para Familias Latinas el miercoles, 19 de enero. Ocho madres participaron en la primera junta. Discutimos los objetivos del programa. Cada una recibio el primer libro que llevaron a casa para compartir y leer a su(s) hijo/a(s). Tambien empezaron a hacer su album familiar.
